Our Name Mori means forest in Japanese. The name hopes to convey the power of community. We may be small as individuals, but together we can have a big impact to protect and restore Earth’s forests.
Ian is an Environmental evangelist and consultant based in Tokyo. While at University, Ian assisted the founding of the Japanese branch of 350.org, a US-born global climate change nonprofit. Since leaving 350 in 2018, Ian has traveled across Japan educating the public and youth on sustainability and climate change.
Alex is a 33-year-old forest lover and product designer based in Odense, Denmark. Having spent the previous seven years working with the popular Norwegian online dating service “sukker.no”, he jumped at the opportunity to use his experience in design, project management and startups in general for the good of the environment.
